Leslie Orth – Executive Director

As Director, Leslie oversees the operations of the 3rd Avenue Marketplace . Leslie has received her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and Communications and has worked in the non-profit world for the past 10 years. She is a certified trainer through Circles USA and is certified in Emergency Mental Health Crises Management. Leslie and her husband, Rob, who have 6 adult children, moved to Idaho in February 2015 and are enjoying living in the most beautiful place on earth.

Brana Cully – Development Assistant & Volunteer Coordinator

Brana was born in Serbia and moved to the US with her family as a teenager. She and her husband moved to North Idaho in January of 2021 and love their new community. Brana has worked in the food bank world for the past six years, and truly enjoys working with all the people that are involved with the food bank including the guests, volunteers, donors, staff members and everybody else. Brana has also played table tennis (yes, ping pong) at a competitive level in Serbia and in the US. If you want to challenge her, just call the food bank and we will set something up. In addition to this, Brana and her husband own a soap company and make silly and educational videos.

Lori Weaver
Lori Weaver – Case Manager

With over thirteen years of non-profit experience under her belt, Lori joined the Post Falls Food Bank family in the Fall of 2014.  As Case Manager Lori enjoys working directly with the 3rd Avenue Marketplace Guests each day. Originally from Texas, Lori is raising her two children in Post Falls. “I love what I do and who I share it with every day at our food bank home!”.

Holly Forshee
Holly Forshee – Market Manager

Holly has lived, worked, and raised her family in Kootenai County for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Lewis Clark State College with a Bachelor’s in Social Work and an LSW license.  The food bank benefited from Holly’s volunteer services for 6 months before she joined the food bank team as  Market Coordinator.   Holly believes strongly in the mission of the 3rd Avenue Marketplace ,  and in helping her neighbors in Kootenai County.  Part of Holly’s job is overseeing the volunteers who help out in the market for which Holly is so grateful.  “The volunteers are amazing and we wouldn’t be here without them and their dedication.”

Jeff Eastwood – Grocery Rescue Driver

Jeff Eastwood has been working for Post Falls Food Bank since 2018. Jeff is from Southern California, and he moved to North Idaho in 2007. Jeff has an amazing 12-year son who is his football star. Jeff loves his family and his Harley Davidson. Jeff says: “I love waking up every morning and coming into work, it is such a joy to help my community.”

Mel Larson – Warehouse Assistant & Backpack Program Coordinator

Mel started out as a 3rd Avenue Marketplace volunteer, and a bit later became a board member. She then got really stuck with us and became one of our staff members! She dedicated her life to serving others through her career in public safety and continues to be a supportive member of our team and of our community! If she is not at the food bank, you can find her on a golf course, taking care of her chickens and garden, or spending time with family and friends.

Steven Magnuson – Warehouse Manager

Steven moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2006 from North Dakota. He obtained his associate’s degree in business from NIC. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring the outdoors and learning new things. He is also a big fan of trivia and loves learning fun facts. Passionate about using his skills to help others and make a difference in the world, Steven is excited to be a part of the Food Bank and to help provide food and other essential items to those in need.

Marcee Cavallaro – Operations Administrator

Marcee is an Operations Administrator at 3rd Avenue Marketplace with 20 years of experience with operations and 5 years of experience in senior relations. Marcee is a Kootenai County native who feels blessed to have been born in this beautiful free country of ours. Marcee and her husband Mike enjoy traveling in their spare time.

Karen Williams – Case Manager, Senior Programs

Karen strongly believes in the betterment of community support for our seniors. She has been affiliated with senior programs in Post Falls for over 9 years including being the assistant manager of a senior thrift store and coordinating the Home Delivered Meals program in all aspects. Karen has lived and worked in the Northwest for the better part of 44 years. Her Christian life and God-children are a blessing in her life and she has lots of love for all fur babies.

Reek Kasun – Senior Enrichment Coordinator

Reek has been a resident of Post Falls for the past 37 years, sharing her life with her husband of 50 years. Born and raised in Montana, she brings with her a deep appreciation for nature and community. Throughout her career, spanning 43 years, Reek has dedicated herself to various administrative roles, bringing efficiency and organization to every task she undertook. Reek’s heart beats for the senior community. She volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program during her work years and continued post-retirement service at the Post Falls Senior Center and Food Bank. In her leisure time, Reek finds solace and joy in the beauty of winter activities, including skiing and snowshoeing, as well as mountain biking during the warmer seasons.

Harvey Allen – Senior Café Chef

Harvey has lived in Kootenai County for over 30 years and has never regretted leaving the Dutch Flat area of California where he was born and raised. Harvey has two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, Harvey has been volunteering for the Food Bank collecting food on Saturdays for the last couple of years. Harvey has a true passion for cooking and deeply cares about helping other people. He graduated from Chef School, owned two restaurants in Kootenai County and after a 35-year long career in construction is back to being a chef for our senior programs!
